Establishing GMP for Medical Cannabis

EU-GMP certification is the key to access European medical cannabis. Dozens, perhaps hundreds of companies claim they have built or are building their facilities to be “GMP compliant” or use other tricks to suggest that they’ll be able to export to Europe. Despite all the talk, only a half-dozen cannabis-producing facilities are certified in the world, and they were all certified after being inspected in 2017, with no new certifications in more than one year.
