Andrea currently serves as the Director or Research and Development and Quality for Green Thumb Industries, a leading national cannabis consumer packaged goods company. In this role, Andrea is focused on cannabis product development, product safety and stability, emerging science and innovation, analytical development, and related regulations. She encourages the practice of making science-based decisions and brings science to the forefront of the design and implementation of R&D and quality programs. Andrea previously spent five years working as a Quality Manager in the craft brewing industry after completing her PhD in Cancer Biology/Molecular Biology and Genetics from Wayne State University School of Medicine.
