Since securing control of Curaleaf in 2014, Boris has grown the cannabis company to 10 states beyond its home base, Massachusetts. Boris also serves as president and CEO of The Sputnik Group, a venture capital and private equity firm he founded in 1998. He oversees Sputnik investments in emerging industries and companies such as Moscow-based Renaissance Insurance, where Boris serves as chair and founder. He was a leader in the growth of Russia’s stock market.
