Cheryl leads an international law practice representing life science and cannabis companies from around the world. She advises clients ranging from startups to large, public companies in private and public financing, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, licensing transactions and strategic partnerships. Previously, Cheryl led the 85-attorney life science group at a U.S. law firm. She has received numerous awards including LMG Life Science’s Finance & Transactional Lawyer of the Year and Best Lawyers in Canada – Life Science Lawyer of the Year. She was recognized as one of Canada’s Top 25 Women of Influence and Canada’s 100 Most Powerful Women. She is a graduate of Harvard Law School and is involved in numerous charitable endeavors.
