Monica founded Vialpando LLC, a San Francisco-based provider of innovation consulting for the cannabis industry, in 2017. As a pharmaceutical development scientist, she performs hands-on lab formulation development. Monica has seven years of pharmaceutical formulation experience with companies in Europe and the United States, including the role of Chief Scientific Officer for Liberty Flights, the United Kingdom’s leading e-liquid manufacturer. Her development portfolio includes immediate- and modified-release oral tablets, sublingual tablets, dry powders and nebulized solution for inhalation, nicotine and cannabis vape products and topicals. She earned a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Leuven, Belgium.
