Since Humiston founded Vangst in 2015, the employment firm has played a role in filling more than 5,500 positions in the marijuana industry through its Denver and Santa Monica, California, offices. Humiston has grown the company to 50 full-time employees and, in the process, earned a spot on Forbes magazine’s “30 Under 30” list for 2018. More than 600 companies seeking employees have turned to Vangst’s combination of direct hires, workers on demand, job board and career fairs.
