Laura serves as senior attorney at ProColombia, the government agency in charge of supporting and promoting Foreign Direct Investment, exports and tourism in Colombia. In this role, Laura is responsible for the Chemistry and Life Science practice, which includes the cannabis sector. She helps to develop the industry by reviewing all regulations and improving the investment environment in Colombia. Prior to this, Laura worked at the Legal International Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism.

Laura se desempeña como abogada senior en ProColombia, la agencia gubernamental a cargo de apoyar y promover la Inversión Extranjera Directa (IED), las exportaciones y el turismo en Colombia. En este papel, Laura es responsable de la práctica de Química y Ciencias de la Vida, que incluye el sector del cannabis. Ella ayuda a desarrollar la industria al revisar todas las regulaciones y mejorar el entorno de inversión en Colombia. Antes de esto, Laura trabajó en la Oficina Jurídica Internacional del Ministerio de Comercio, Industria y Turismo.
