Darwin recently brought his background in mechanical- and solvent-based extraction methods to the Portland, Oregon-based company. With Phytologix, he helps clients design and install phytocannabinoid processing systems. He previously played a key role in the development of the Dixie Botanicals hemp-based CBD product line. Darwin serves as industrial hemp liaison for ASTM International’s Committee D37 on Cannabis, has been involved in setting phytocannabinoid policies since 2013 and is a former chair of the Hemp Industries Association’s Cannabinoid Committee.
