Rhys is a political economist, cannabis industry expert and educator. He is responsible for policy development, regulatory compliance, industry engagement, community outreach and government relations at The Lambert Initiative. The Lambert Initiative is a philanthropically-funded research group at the University of Sydney investigating the medical scientific potential of cannabis, cannabinoids and the endocannabinoid system. Previously, he headed the research team that produced the first white paper on medical cannabis in Australia and established Australia’s first industry-focused cannabis education program with Cann10 Australia.
