Who qualifies to apply as a digital content creator?

Social media content creators, bloggers, and podcasters with the following credentials are invited to apply:

• Highly engaged community of followers
• Unique content focused on cannabis business and/or industry culture
• Must be 21 years or older

Application Evaluation:

With limited passes available for 2024, our team will consider:

• Number of followers
• Relevance to cannabis business
• Audience engagement
• Cross-platform activity
• Posting frequency
• Innovative MJBizCon content ideas

Even if your application isn’t successful, you’re still welcome (and encouraged!) to purchase a ticket and join us!

What does the Content Creator pass include?

Accepted creators will receive:

• A Conference + Expo pass with access to the 3-day conference and Expo (Dec 4-6)
• Invitations to networking receptions for Women in Cannabis and Achieving Equity (Dec 4 + 5)

Note: The pass does not cover pre-show forums (Dec 3), special line privileges, early access, guaranteed seating, or travel accommodations.

Requirements for Accepted Content Creators:

Accepted Content Creators must commit to attending the full duration of MJBizCon and these posting requirements:

Posting Requirements:

• Pre-Event: 3 Feed Posts/Reels
• During Event: 1-2 Feed Posts/Reels + 3 story mentions (Instagram Only)
• Post Event: 2 Feed Posts/Reels

*All Posts must tag MJBizCon social channels and include official show hashtag #MJBizCon

Released Content Requirements:

• During the event, each Content Creator will have one “beat” to cover, such as an event, session, activation or exhibitor engagement, assigned by the MJBiz Content Team.
• Content Creators must supply MJBiz with 1 piece of video content (30-90 seconds) sized for social media formats (9:16 and 16:9) to be posted by the MJBiz Content Team on MJBiz channels.
• Content Creators must possess rights to any music, photo(s) or video content and release copyright permissions to MJBiz.
• Shared Drive will be provided for uploading content.
• MJBiz will tag and/or invite Content Creator to collaborate where applicable when posting on MJBiz channels.

Failure to meet the posting/content requirements:

• Pre-event posts: will result in the cancellation of your 2024 registration / badge
• During and Post event posts will result in future denial of registration under this category

Note: No solicitation will be permitted under this registration type and will result in immediate removal from the Show.

Bringing a Plus One?

Due to limited space, only one person per social handle, blog, or podcast will be accepted, except under individual circumstances. Each person must register individually.
