As the host of the Texas State Takeover at MJBizCon, I’ve witnessed firsthand the incredible power these state takeovers bring to the cannabis industry. Last year was our first time bringing Texas to the national stage in this way, and I was blown away by the excitement and curiosity from both Texans and out-of-state guests.
People traveled from Oklahoma, Oregon, Louisiana, and beyond just to see what Texas is building in cannabis and hemp, an industry that now surpasses $8 billion in revenue. This year, with the top Texas cannabis attorney Chelsea Spencer joining us for a rapid-fire Q&A, we expect an even larger crowd. These takeovers truly provide a unique space for operators across states to connect, learn, and discover what’s happening in Texas—one of the fastest-growing markets in the nation.
It’s all about creating opportunities, building relationships, and sparking ideas, all in one place at the biggest cannabis business event in the country. I’m honored to be part of it as The Hemp Housewife and excited to keep elevating the conversation!
