As the cannabis industry continues to evolve, MJBizCon remains committed to building authentic connections across the community. In Spring of 2025, our team had the privilege of attending several standout cannabis networking events in Los Angeles. From celebrating women in weed to engaging with top cannabis executives and supporting local networking efforts— each event was an opportunity to learn, listen, and lead. Here’s a recap of three events that brought together the industry’s brightest minds and passionate advocates.
International Women’s Day: Empowering Women in Cannabis (March 3, 2025)
In celebration of International Women’s Day, MJBizCon partnered with Smoke Show Co for a “Women in Weed” event in Los Angeles. Designed as a networking opportunity for women in the cannabis industry, this event highlighted critical conversations around representation, empowerment, and leadership. A powerful panel discussion—featuring industry leaders Whitney Conroy, Susie Placencia, and Angela Cheng, and moderated by Amirose Eisenbach—explored how women can overcome systemic challenges in a traditionally male-dominated space. MJBizCon’s own Brittany Wudrick, Director of Partnerships and Attendee Acquisition attended, championing our commitment to elevating female voices in cannabis.
Cannapac WEHO: Executive Networking for Cannabis Industry Leaders (March 18, 2025)
On March 18, the MJBizCon team joined the Cannapac WEHO event, a premier gathering for C-Suite professionals and executive leaders in the cannabis space. Attended by MJBizCon team; Brittany Wudrick, Emilie Lewis, Sam Villegas, and Karalynn Sprouse, this exclusive Los Angeles event serves as a hub for high-level networking and strategic conversations. Cannapac continues to build momentum by fostering deep, meaningful business relationships outside the traditional office setting. These events are crucial for moving the industry forward through collaboration, innovation, and shared experiences.
Cannabis Chamber of Commerce Networking at The Artist Tree (May 29, 2025)
MJBizCon was proud to support the Cannabis Chamber of Commerce event held at The Artist Tree in West Hollywood, in collaboration with Budist. This regional networking mixer focused on connecting with the local Los Angeles cannabis community, offering a space for entrepreneurs, retailers, and advocates to exchange ideas and resources. MJBizCon team members Brittany Wudrick, Emilie Lewis, Harrison Radie, and Sam Villegas were in attendance, engaging with industry peers and learning more about how regional insights can shape national-level events. These localized experiences allow us to stay grounded, foster new partnerships, and better serve our audience through meaningful event programming.
Continuing the Conversation in Cannabis
Each event MJBizCon attends reinforces our mission: to support, spotlight, and grow the cannabis industry by connecting people who make an impact. This year’s MJBizCon is a powerful reflection of that mission in action. From elevating women leaders on mainstage panels to forging strategic alliances in networking sessions, this event was designed to foster meaningful connections that drive progress.
With a strong focus on innovation, inclusion, and industry advancement, MJBizCon is more than a conference- it is a catalyst for change. We are excited to carry these conversations forward as we continue to shape the future of the cannabis industry. Interested in attending MJBizCon this December 2-5 in Las Vegas Nevada? Register Now
