Case Study: SolarCell Indoor Farming using DC Microgrid Technology

This presentation will cover direct solar integration into microgrid power systems for indoor growers. A combination of power comes from solar, while back-up power can still come from the grid, and on-site back-up from the natural gas generator and batteries. During power faults, the indoor growing environment will be unaffected. Lithium-ion battery energy storage system stores solar energy that lowers and/or replaces demand from the grid.
