Under Darren’s leadership, Spiritleaf and its parent company, Inner Spirit Holdings, is moving into the adult-use cannabis industry in Canada. Alberta-based Spiritleaf currently has more than 100 corporate and franchised retail outlets under development as well as a portfolio of proprietary brands. The company is the first to be accepted as a member of the Canadian Franchise Association. Before Spiritleaf, Darren founded Watch It, a wristwatch and accessories retail store with multiple locations across Canada.
