Garret leads engineering and scientific development of extraction and purification processes at Xabis, which creates and implements commercial processing operations. He has led the design and launch of three operations in Colorado, Nevada and Texas – and he is currently working on projects in California and Canada. Garret was previously a lecturer and senior researcher for the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at the University of Colorado at Boulder, where he secured grants and instructed classes on extraction technologies.
