Karan is a seasoned finance professional with significant international experience. Currently he leads investment strategy, fundraising and manages the portfolio and team at Casa Verde Capital. Karan is also an active private investor and advisor, and he sits on the board of 10 cannabis companies. He began his career with Goldman Sachs, where he worked in San Francisco, Hong Kong and Mumbai. Following Goldman, Karan joined Nomura, Japan’s largest investment bank, to help establish their Indian Equities business. He co-founded the digital media and entertainment brand MissMalini.com and was an early investor in Steadview – one of the largest India-dedicated hedge funds.
