Kristi is the executive director the Marijuana Industry Group, Colorado’s largest and most diverse trade association for licensed marijuana businesses. She also serves as the vice chair of the organization’s board. Prior to joining MIG, Kristi entered the cannabis space as the owner of a marijuana cultivation, manufacturing and dispensary business that launched in 2009; she served as chief operating officer until 2015. Kristi also sits on the Governor’s Marijuana Education Oversight Committee. She recently launched Root Strategies, a national consulting company focused on cannabis strategies and business services.
