Earlier this year, Michael co-founded the cannabis-infused sparkling tonics brand Mood33 in Santa Monica, California with Eric Schnell. The two had partnered in 2014 to launch Loft Infusions, a first-to-market, hemp CBD-infused beverage firm based in New York. Michael also has been involved in marijuana startups Rodawg (later Bureau) and CH3 Ventures. He served a business development director at Rodawg, which produced child-resistant packaging, and as managing partner at CH3, cannabis technology incubator and investment company.
