Jeremy Berke
Founder and EICCultivated MediaAs Senior Editor at Moby, he helps lead coverage of markets and finance for a growing audience of retail investors. He sets the daily news agenda, mentors early-career reporters, edits their work, and writes incisive analysis, informed by his MBA, on everything from Nvidia earnings to macroeconomic policy. He also works closely with product and engineering to build AI-assisted workflows that make the newsroom faster without sacrificing editorial judgment.
He's also the founder and editor-in-chief of Cultivated Media, a profitable, independent media company he built from scratch during my MBA studies. Cultivated covers the legal cannabis industry, but more broadly, it demonstrates that high-trust, deeply reported journalism can be both influential and economically sustainable without outside capital.
Previously, he was a Senior Reporter at Business Insider, where he launched the cannabis beat from zero, grew a newsletter to 20,000 subscribers, and broke stories that moved markets and shaped policy debates. He's interviewed U.S. senators in front of live audiences, appeared on CNN and other national outlets, and built loyal audiences around complex regulatory and financial stories.
He holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA from Bowdoin College.
