Empowering women with advocacy and hope
Every year, MJBizCon brings impactful voices to the forefront. Among those influential speakers is Hope Wiseman, CEO and founder of WISECO. At 25, Hope became the youngest Black woman to own a cannabis dispensary Mary & Main, and is expanding with new brands in Maryland and New Jersey. From the MJBizCon stage to show floor, Hope’s impact champions empowerment, social change, and transformation in cannabis.

For fellow women striving to reach new heights, Hope recommends “using your feminine energy to your advantage. Lean into it, and surround yourself with a team that complements your strengths and fills any gaps where needed.”
Beyond MJBizCon: Community in the spotlight
While we look forward to this year’s MJBizCon, our community continues to make an impact in their own markets. Lilach Mazor Power is the founder and CEO of Mazor Collective, a locally-owned cannabis company in Arizona, offering a welcoming space for both seasoned consumers and newcomers. Recognized for her leadership, Power says that “staying true to my purpose—serving the community, building a strong team, and focusing on what matters” has been key to her success. Happy International Women’s Day to the powerhouses in the business!
