First Since Federal Cannabis Rescheduling
MJBizCon, the world’s largest B2B cannabis Conference and Expo, is preparing to return to the Las Vegas Convention Center December 1-4, 2026. Celebrating 15 years of cannabis industry connections, this will be their first gathering since federal rescheduling to Schedule III. How will the move to Schedule III reshape approaches to investments, taxes, banking, cultivation, clinical research, supply chain and more.
The four-day content program will feature more than 200 speakers addressing this pivotal point for the industry. Combine that with the exponential adoption of AI and advances in technology and genetics, the 2026 program tracks cover everything from ‘AI in the Grow’ to ‘Cannabis Global Expansion and the New International Policy Map’ and ‘Solving for Schedule III’ to ‘280E Awareness.’
Expert-led education, practical insights, and high-value networking opportunities are designed to drive business growth across these tracks:
- Cultivation Business Solutions: Practical strategies for today’s grow operations
- Retail Marketing and Operations: Tools and tactics to drive dispensary performance and customer growth
- Legislative and Legal Insights: Critical guidance on navigating a post-rescheduling market, with a focus on 280E awareness and compliance
- Pharmaceutical and Clinical Research: A deep dive into drug development and the expanding role of cannabis in clinical science
Content programming also reflects MJBizCon’s long-standing commitment to building an industry, not just a marketplace. With sessions spanning community leadership, equity and advocacy, the conference brings together founders, operators, regulators, and advocates from across the globe to tackle the issues that matter most.
“MJBizCon has long been more than a gathering place for our industry; it’s where some of the most important conversations about the future of cannabis take shape. Having had the privilege of returning to this stage year after year, I’ve seen firsthand the power of bringing together leaders with different experiences, perspectives, and areas of expertise to challenge one another and move our industry forward,” said Susie Plascencia, Founder, Latinas in Cannabis, Co-Executive Director, National Hispanic Cannabis Council.
“As a Latina entrepreneur and woman who has built businesses, organizations, and community within the cannabis industry, I understand the responsibility that comes with having a platform like this. I’m looking forward to contributing to a program that doesn’t just reflect where cannabis is today, but helps shape where we go next, and inspires the next generation of leaders to see themselves as part of that future.”
Industry Certifications
In addition to conference sessions, professionals can level up with onsite cannabis industry certifications beginning on Tuesday, December 1. Attendees can earn credentials in retail, product knowledge, banking & finance, compliance, cultivation, and more, all while attending the show. These expert-led programs deliver practical training and insights you can apply immediately to your cannabis business. Available options include:
- Ganjier Product Specialist Certification
- Cannabis Retail 101: Turn Budtenders into LUVTENDERS
- PBC Level I Cannabis Banking Certificate

- Cannabis Law Sessions: Progress, Pushback & the Path Forward

“What I love about MJBizCon is that everyone’s there at once. Scientists, operators, regulators, people building brands. I think the best ideas in cannabis tend to come from the overlap between these different parts of the industry,” said Mike Hennesy, Founder, Hennesy Strategy Group.
“The programming is a big part of that. MJBiz rebuilds the agenda every year around what actually needs attention right now. This year there’s a full track on Clinical Research sitting right alongside Cultivation and Business sessions, and timely topics like Schedule III and what it actually means. People leave with new ideas and connections they wouldn’t have otherwise.”
MJBizCon will take place in Las Vegas from December 1-4, 2026. For more information or to register, visit mjbizconference.com.
