MEDIA CREDENTIALS
MJBizCon Media Credential Policy
Those requesting media registration must be currently employed by a news publication or organization. Each organization is limited to two media representatives, except online newsletters, which are limited to one. Currently, MJBizCon does not provide media passes to social media influencers. CEOs, publishers, business development, account representatives, sales executives, book authors, publicists and marketers do not meet the criteria for media registration. Eligibility Guidelines to Attend MJBizCon as a Member of the Media:
- Print, Business and Trade Publications/News Wire Services: Reporters, editors and columnists from print magazines, newspapers, trade publications and wire services.
- Television and Radio: Broadcast reporters, editors and producers from radio networks, radio stations, TV stations or broadcast news organizations.
- Podcasts: Podcast hosts and producers who are full time members of the press / media organization and have had a minimum of six current episodes. We do not guarantee passes to podcasters with larger roles within non-media organizations.
- Freelance Writers: Freelance writers must certify they have been retained to cover MJBizCon or supply links to recent relevant bylines.
- News Websites and Online Publications: Reporters and reviewers from news websites and online publications. The website must contain editorial content and cover cannabis.
- Newsletters or E-Newsletters: Newsletter reporters must certify they have been retained to cover MJBizCon. Newsletters are limited to one media representative.
- Content Creators: (You Tube, Social Media Influencers, etc.): At this time, MJBizCon does not permit media passes to all influencers. Content Creators can reach out to Demi Hinton for potential partnerships.
- Press passes will not be given to those intending to film exhibitors for promotional purposes.
- Press passes are limited in quantity.
- Press passes will only be given to working members of the press. Publishers, Sales, Business Development, marketing/brand, agencies, CEO’s, etc. will not receive a press pass
- Press passes are not guaranteed for social media outlets, reality media, newsletters, blogs or podcasts
- No sales of any kind will be allowed by those attending as a media representative
- Sessions may not be filmed or recorded.
- Filming or live shots during an in-person event on the property may be subject to prior approval by the venue.
- We retain the right to cancel press passes for any reason, at any time.
About MJBizCon The 14th Annual MJBizCon, the longest-running and largest cannabis trade show in the world, will take place at the Las Vegas Convention Center (North & Central Halls). Back by popular demand is a segmented expo floor layout divided into industry sectors such as: cultivation, processing, packaging & lab services, business services and retail/dispensary. About Pre-Show Forums Due to limited capacity, press passes DO NOT guarantee entry to Pre-Show Forums. If you have specific interest in attending these, please indicate your interest when completing the press application form. As always, the 2025 event will feature a Press Room located on the show floor to give you maximum opportunity to provide coverage to your readers and listeners. The press room is fully equipped with charging stations, internet access, seating for interviews, tables for working, and of course, snacks and coffee! The 2025 Schedule and full conference agenda will be available late summer 2025, but mark your calendars for these dates:
- Tuesday, December 2: Pre-Show Forums & Associations Day
- Wednesday, December 3 – Friday, December 5: Conference & Expo
