MJBizCon Social Equity Scholarship

Applications Open for 2026

This Social Equity Scholarship Program gives social equity license holders or applicants and students access to MJBizCon – to build valuable industry partnerships, gain insights at the Conference, find the right solution providers in the Expo, and get connected with the best in canna-business.

 

What does the Scholarship include?

The Scholarship awards 30 recipients in total, each will receive the following:

  • One (1) complimentary Conference + Expo tickets
  • Access to Achieving Equity in Cannabis networking reception
  • Access to Empowering Women in Cannabis networking reception
  • Complimentary entry to the First Timers Open House
  • Complimentary entry to Associations Day
  • Partner hotel rates in Las Vegas
  • AVAILABLE AS A PAID ADD ON: One Certification program of choice
Social Equity Scholarship

Qualifications: Social Equity Business Owners

  • One (1) application per person may be submitted.
  • One (1) scholarship per company will be awarded.
  • Social Equity Applicants must be in one of these plant-touching categories: Cultivation, Extraction/Processing, Retail, Manufacturing/Brand.
  • Not open to ancillary-related businesses.
  • Must provide Social Equity license or proof of in-progress application.
  • Previous Scholarship Recipients will not be considered for 2026 scholarship.
  • Applicants who have already registered for MJBizCon will not be considered.

Qualifications: Students

  • Applicants must be 21 years of age or older.
  • One (1) application per person may be submitted.
  • Student Applicants must be actively enrolled in a cannabis related field/program at an accredited university or college.
  • Previous Scholarship Recipients will not be considered for 2026 scholarship.
  • Applicants who have already registered for MJBizCon will not be considered.

Application Evaluation Process

Applicants are reviewed by the MJBizCon team and by trusted partner organizations that specialize in the advancement of minorities and underrepresented groups in the cannabis industry.

Due to a limited number of scholarships, acceptances are given on a first-come-first-serve basis, with the opportunity to enter the waitlist in the case additional scholarships become available.

We strive to accommodate additional attendees under this Program. However, only one Full Access Pass is provided per accepted Scholarship recipient. Group discounts are available. Each attendee must register individually.
