Saphira is the principal and CEO of The Liaison Group and serves as the Senior Public Policy Advisor and Executive Director of the National Cannabis Roundtable, which advocates for common sense federal regulation, tax equity and financial services for cannabis businesses. Saphira has developed and executed campaigns to help cannabis businesses navigate the complicated and rapidly evolving federal landscape. The Liaison Group is the first DC-based lobbying firm focused exclusively on the cannabis industry. Clients of the Liaison Group include Acreage Holdings and the California Cannabis Industry Association. Saphira also works closely with both the House and Senate Cannabis Caucus and Working Groups.
