Tassa Saldi, Ph.D. is the co-founder and CSO of TUMI Genomics, a pioneering biotechnology company that specializes in cannabis/hemp genomics research and development, with a primary focus on plant pathology and pathogen diagnostics. Tassa has contributed over 25 years of research in RNA biology, infectious disease, and molecular pathogen detection. She was awarded a prestigious fellowship from the American Cancer Society and was one of eighteen doctoral fellows nation-wide invited to present her research at the Aspen Cancer Conference. Additionally, Tassa has authored more than 20 peer-reviewed articles in top-tier journals. The entirety of her educational scientific career was completed at CU Boulder.

With a deep passion for understanding and combating plant diseases, Tassa has made significant contributions to the cannabis industry through her work at TUMI Genomics. Her contributions have had a profound impact on the cannabis industry, promoting plant health, productivity, and the overall success of growers worldwide. Dr. Saldi continues to use her expertise to provide the cannabis industry with reliable, accurate diagnostic tools and pathogen mitigation guidance.
