Cannabinoid-based pharmaceuticals are moving from promise to practice, with a growing pipeline of FDA-reviewed candidates targeting epilepsy, pain, sleep, and beyond. Yet the path from molecule to market remains one of the most demanding in the industry. This session gives pharmaceutical executives, investors, and researchers a perspective of where clinical development stands today and where the real cannabis industry opportunities sit next.

You'll learn how to navigate the FDA regulatory pathway, structure clinical trials that withstand scrutiny, and align early-stage research with cannabis business compliance expectations. We'll break down the drug development process stage by stage, then turn to commercialization: pricing, payer access, manufacturing scale, and partnership models that bring a cannabinoid drug to patients.

By the end, you'll leave with a strategic framework for evaluating pipelines, de-risking development, and timing market entry.
